In our collective unconscious, the swamp is associated with evil spirits, a lost place and generally has a negative taste...
Sometimes I find myself thinking that I miss the swamp. It may sound wild and unusual. But that's the way it is. I love spending time in the swamps, it's my own special world. It's not a field or a forest, but it looks like both.
This swamp lake is simply charming. I don't know if there are fish here, but it doesn't matter. I know many other lakes in the swamps where there are fish for sure and I even caught it. They were perches.
Here I just like to look at the water and different reflections.
An ecotrope is laid along this swamp. A boardwalk leads through wet and swampy places. You can walk in the swamp... in sneakers :)
A wonderful opportunity, isn't it.
By the way, cranberries are harvested here in autumn. Actually, this is a nature reserve and economic activity is prohibited here. But picking berries is very harmless, if you behave carefully at the same time.
A forest ridge stretches right through the swamp and there are several forest islands. It's interesting to wander between them among the swamp. A special feeling.
And yet, it's very easy to breathe here. This does not happen in all swamps. Space, fresh air, lots of light.
We wandered there until the evening. Deep shadows lay on the grasses. It created a romantic mood :) Don't think about the kikimora...
