For me, every journey begins with the chaos of the railroad. I don't like to fly on airplanes, although sometimes I had to do it. My longest flight took place from Moscow to Panama. It was a business trip to shoot the show "The Last Hero". In total, the flight took more than a day, but this is with transfers and expectations.
The farthest way by train is Peter-Baikal. 4 days in a second-class carriage in the last compartment by the toilet. But I will never compare the feeling of flying and the feeling of a train car. I like the latter much more.
This post is about train travel. More precisely, this is only the beginning of the journey to the Crimea and its main city of Sevastopol. All this happened before the coronavirus madness. But no matter what, I will definitely repeat this route. If not this year, then later.
I just made a short video from road photos. The dynamics of the video give these photos more life. Well, we won't be in a hurry.
Pour boiling water into glasses and make tea. Glasses in glass holders and jingling teaspoons are an indispensable attribute of any road in a train car.
This time we were on the last carriage. For me it was luck. I could imagine myself as a machinist. After all, the photo does not show whether the sleepers are approaching you or moving away from you.
On the way, the train changes directions. The sun can be either to your right or to your left. In my case, there was no sun at all. It's good that the glass of the car door was clean enough for filming.
Although I like to look out the window and take pictures of everything, but the occupation is rather monotonous (I generally keep quiet about the plane). It becomes more fun when you drive through settlements or some structures such as bridges or tunnels.
There are no tunnels on this road, but sometimes there are bridges. True, they appear too unexpectedly.
You do not have time to shoot them through the compartment window and run to the end of the car ...
And then a new turn of the road awaits you. There will definitely be something interesting behind it.
