To get into a fairy tale, you can take a book, sit comfortably in an armchair in front of the fireplace and immerse yourself in reading a fairy tale plot. But in winter, fairy tales happen without any books. After a snowfall, any forest becomes fabulous.
Yes, you have to get your ass off the comfy chair in front of the fireplace and step into the blizzard. But believe me, this step is worth it. Now I will prove it to you.
I didn't take a tripod with me, but I didn't really need it. Although there were a couple of moments when I regretted my laziness. I didn't have a goal to shoot something specific or in any particular way. The only thing I wanted to do was take a series of shots in black and white. Yes, the white snow and the graphics of the trees were conducive to this. But in fact, I just went out for a walk.
You can walk from my house to a small forest in 15 minutes. This is if you do not take pictures on the way. I walked for an hour and a half. It's good that I still managed to catch daylight in the forest. Though not for long. Now it gets dark already at 17:00. This time I will not comment on each photo or several pieces in blocks. I will only say that at first I walked along the streets, then past some institution with an airplane, along the lake, and finally got into a fairy tale.
This is more a series of reportage photographs of my walk than something else, and even more so, something artistic. Want to get to the winter's tale? Then scroll through the photos to the end. I went...
I will try to take the next series of photos in a high key. Until next time.
