A very picturesque and artistic place in our town of Annecy is the small place called "passage de l'ile", This place is located at the back of the *Palais de l'Isle" (palace of the island 😅), which is the building of the ancient prisons,
and even if it's a rather small place, there is much to admire everywhere so I will offer you a 360 ° tour in photos ^ _ ^
of course, the buildings are very old and a little damaged, but especially since they are a little narrow and dark passages, there are degradations which are the work of time and pollution (for the visual aspect) but also urine against the walls (for everyone to enjoy the olfactory aspect ...😒)
yet in the midst of all this, we find real interesting pieces that only ask to live under our gaze ...
seeing you makes me happy
Here we see the back of the old prisons, which are now a museum ...
I showed you the front of the prisons in a previous post which it is the most photographed place in our city 😉
To our right we see the café des arts, and as today was their closing day, I was lucky enough to photograph their storefront with the shutters closed, which allows you to admire the paintings on them ✌️
and there by this charming opening of the gate on the canal, we can see a part of the old town
A little recoil to allow you a little more depth on the spot ...😉
and when you leave this square the vision is magical because you see the castle tower which dominates the old town
Et voilà, I hope you will have enjoyed this little picture tour in this very small place which conceals many pleasures for the eyes ... 😍
