Hello to all.
Here I will show Svartifoss waterfall (also known as 'blackwaterfall) in Skaftafell, inside huge Vatnajökull National Park (Iceland).
Typical characteristic of this waterfall are geometric dark lava columns.

Some of the basalt columns have fallen, leaving surreal shards of rock in upper part.


Waterfall can be reached by a 45 minutes walking and they are one of the most attractive place (and unique in the world) to visit in this country.


From the opposite side, a view of Skaftafell, with its green hills and vast plains in background, plenty of rivers (melting water from Vatnajökull - the largest glacier of Iceland).
