Elle in the garden
Elle had been on my radar for a while and last year, just coming out of lockdown I got the chance to work with her at her home studio. It was such a relief to be out shooting again after the confinement and the social media madness that was Covid isolation.
Portrait of Elle
Elle was a breathe of fresh air after months of virtually doing nothing. She was such a pleasant young lady, big on smiles and joie de vivre. And very photogenic. I went home after the shoot anticipating some decent images. But also it was the feeling of getting back out there. Shoots had been so few and far between during the pandemic.

You don’t need me to remind you how awful the lockdowns were. We al went through it and no doubt all have our stories to tell. But the only real story in my mind was getting out and back doing what I enjoy.

Shooting with Elle, reminded me of the buzz you get from a good shoot. The pleasure of working with people that have the same passion for photography. I’m part of a little “family” of photographers and models that often get together, to shoot to jabber and just to enjoy the company. And that was what was so badly missed during the lockdowns.
