Lucille on the rainwall
I have visited *Tankspace *twice now. *Tankspace *is a studio that contains a tank full of water that has been used for music videos and film shoots as well as being open to photographers just wanting something different to shoot.
Lucille in the tank
Its hard work for the model, as it’s a matter of submerging in the tank, where the natural urge is to swim to the top, and then pull some shapes for the photographers to photograph. Once the model is under the water they are completely disassociated from the photographers, neither being able to hear or see them. Even though the water is warm it is still hard graft, diving down and attempting to stay down as long as possible whilst hopefully posing in a fluid fashion.
Lucile with the lights on the rain wall
The second time I visited the studio had added a rain wall. I had worked the tank on my previous visit and was really looking forward to seeing how the new area of the studio worked out. I wasn’t disappointed. In fact I spent more time working with models on the rain wall that I did shooting models in the tank.
Lucille posing in the rainwall
**Lucille **had been to *Tankspace *before and it showed. Her movements in the tank were so fluid and graceful were something to behold. But I felt she also really shined on the rain wall. She was a star to work with and really pushed her poses.
