Step 1
First, let's get past the title of this post - Working For The MUA is a play on the title of a song by one of my all time favourite bands. We'll leave it there, if you know, you know, if you don't, it won't mean a thing.
Step 2
Creative make up is possibly one of my favourite things to shoot. I don't shoot it often enough. But when I do, I love it. The whole creative process and the talent of a good make up artist fascinates me.
Step 3
I had not worked with Hayleigh, the MUA, before, but I had seen her work and when she answered the casting I got her booked in quick. Ellie-Mae, the model, I've known and worked with a lot over the past eight or nine years. The ladies hit it off, and I was left to twiddle my thumbs and get s few behind the scenes images and videos whilst they were working their magic.
Finished
The whole process took around five hours to get the shot I wanted. And then, kind of sadly, Hayleigh told Ellie-Mae to mess up the make up before it was all cleaned off. All of that work
Deconstruction
About me:
I can mostly be found shooting models, aviation, motorsports and, when I can, wildlife. But I enjoy most aspects of photography. You can find more of my work on the links below.
