I keep saying that I will be more active with posting, but then I get heaps more uni work and hours at my local supermarket and I neglect hive.
I recently bought myself a set of drone filter for my mini 2 as I was not able to shoot anything ocean related through the day without the images being totally blown out.
I often look at the cloud forecasts and see good looking clouds, just to get to the location and have a crappy sunset. Then when I'm at home and don't go out I miss spectacular skies. Maybe because I am inland about 50km I have totally different cloud formations?
Anyway, I was at home and could see the sky was looking mighty epic, so I took the drone and raced to the other side of town to send it up over Lake Keilambete.
The sky absolutely popped and burnt for a good 15 minutes or more. One of the most epic skies I have ever witnessed.
To make things worse, my SD card became full so I only have one salvageable image from the sunset. At least it was one I am super happy with!
I hope you enjoy these images (The more intense colour one was saved to my phone and is only like 1mb :( ).
