So hey there y'all,
Hope y'all are doing great,
So today I'm so excited to show you the old houses of himalyas ,
So basically here especially in Himachal Pradesh, India there are these very different types of house especially in hills , and in Himachal these homes are known as "Kath kuni" so these houses are made up of stones wood and mud or cow dung , so what makes them special is that these houses are warm even in winter , and back then in Himachal people only used to live in these kind if house.

So this specific one is a old house ,and the old generation of our family used to live in it, even though now we don't live here but now it's our cow's house and in Himachal language we call it "Khud" abd it's also storage place of grass for winters .
As you can see they look pretty old but they are still here with no big damage.
So this is how it looks from the inside , i know this one looks alot messy but it's because cows lives here in the ground floor and on 1st flood we store grass and some other stuff.
And the roof of these houses are made up of slates which is flat stones and these kind of roof is pretty strong and they can bear so much of snow weight.
