Hello everyone, you wonderful people. It's been quite a while since I wrote anything. Over these twenty days or so, I've been reading some of your blogs here and there, dropping by from time to time, but I truly missed this little ritual of writing. There's something special about turning on the computer with a cup of Turkish coffee and simply letting my thoughts slowly flow into typed words. βΊοΈ
By that logic, this blog should probably have at least 2000 words, but it definitely won't. xD As much as I missed writing here, I somehow also ran out of good words and inspiration along the way. So this time, I'll keep it short.
I just wanted to wave "hello" to all of you, send lots of virtual hugs and a biiig sunny smile your way! And as a little bonus, I'm also sending these adorable tiny insects along with it; bzzz bzzz. Aren't they just the cutest? (:
Do you get chills when you see them like this on your screen? These are insects from my gallery that I've photographed since the weather finally warmed up after that beautiful snow back in January. Basically, everything I came across; and everything my minus 0.75 eyesight managed to spot without glasses. π Today, I cropped and adjusted them a little in the editor so these tiny creatures could be better positioned in the photos.
I tried to present them here almost like a real insect collection display, except this time, unlike during our school days when we had to make insect collections for biology grades, not a single little bug was harmed, I promise! π
Now try to spot the little chameleon in this photo. Be honest! You didn't notice him right away, righ? While I was uploading these pictures here to save it as draft, I caught myself a few times wondering why I was even posting a random photo of grass. The tiny rascal really knows how to hide. π
Actually, I call them cute little names like that, because in reality I'm terrified of grasshoppers and all those jumpy insects... I seriously get chills whenever I see them, hear them or suddenly feel one calmly and completely unbothered sitting on my head while I'm playing The Sims Hot Date. xD Yeeees, straight from the edition of: "this actually happened when I was little".
Which insect are you afraid of? And if you're not really scared of any of them, then here's another question for you: > Which insect do you find the cutest?
As for me, I think I'm actually the calmest around spiders. They don't bother me, I don't bother them, simple as that. We seem to have some kind of silent agreement and it works out perfectly for everyone. π₯°
That would be all for this quick little check-in. Thank you for reading all the random things I am usually rambling about here. Turns out it didn't end up being as short as I thought it would be. Sending lots of greetings your way!
