For days now I have been promising that I would share all the photos from the time the snow fell, melted and disappeared. And I just can't seem to manage it. Is it because I have too many photos or am I simply not very efficient in my work and intentions? It is probably both of those, but here I am now, continuing the same snowy story. ❄️ Don't know how I could best name this phenomenon, but it looked so much like the trees had leafed out and blossomed as if it were spring, while in fact it was snow that stuck to the branches like some kind of sticky fluffy foam.
That scene was also helped by the beautiful sun, which suddenly came out and bathed us all that day, considering that for the previous three days so much snow had been falling and it was cold...it really was a true "Siberian winter" in Serbia.
That time when the snow was falling here where we live was also the time of the Christmas holidays, so it made that festive magic even stronger and it was really beautiful, especially considering that in previous years the weather in this period was quite spring-like, often sunny and with higher "April" temperatures in January, literally like that.
And then that day when the sun came out and everything took on a special color that had been missing in the previous days. White everywhere, yet blue, gray everywhere, yet yellow, trees everywhere bare, yet full of leaves and flowers. How is that even possible? 😍
However much we think that something is impossible, nature proves us wrong. That is why it is so beautiful and why we should not take it lightly, but also fear it a little. And although I love, I think, I love, it is strange and maybe silly to say, but I love watching movies about natural disasters, because that is when we realize how small we really are.
All of these photographs were taken with a Samsung A56 mobile phone. I am still amazed at how good the camera is. 🤭
That’s all for this quick check-in. In the future I will try to share more photos and information about themselves, rather than my ad hoc rambling like I'm on a psychologist's couch. Greeeetings to all! 🤗
