Gliding Dragon Lizard: My friendly visitor this morning

Hello everyone.. It's been a while since I posted her in this community..Hope everyone doing great today where ever part of the world you are right now..Today I will share to you some photos of our friendly visitor came in our house this morning.. while i was sitting at our table outside and drinking milk,, i was startled when something suddenly flow quickly right in front of me and landed on the chair across from me..

It turned out to be a type of lizard that can fly... So i quickly grab my camera to take a picture of it.. when i got back, it was no longer on the chair and i thought it had left.. but it had actually just move to a different spot..

This kind of flying lizard is endemic in palawan but you can see also in other island in the philippines like our island in guimaras... Then name it dragon because her face is looks like a dragon.. when they open their gliding membranes, they shows different colors like brown and white.. it's very common to think they flew away.. when in reality they just scrambled a few inches to the side.. rose flat against surface and let their camouflage do the work..

The good thing is it was very friendly, when i take photos it stayed still and enjoyed staring at the camera while i taking photos..
