Not sure there is any significance to me taking these pictures on the Veterans' Day - just wondering because oak leaves somehow have a prominent place in many countries' military decorations. But to me these are just leaves that have grown and are at the end of their life cycle, signifying the Autumn and the upcoming Winter.
