A weekend trip with the family took my feet to a bamboo grove, which thrives near a city park. The bamboo clump reminded me of a fiction writing project that I haven't finished yet.
Dried bamboo leaves that fell, piled on top of each other, at the roots of the evergreen flowering plant. I suddenly fantasized that I was in a thick, old, and yes it was, spooky bamboo forest.
Every now and then I glanced left and right, worried if a snake that resembled a bamboo twig was opening its mouth towards my face. However, that concern was unfounded. My parents say that snakes don't really like bamboo. Even in my area there is one term that mentions; hit the snake's head but the bamboo branch didn't break. It's as if it's a reminder that when a snake enters the house, please take a bamboo stick to repel it.
About that last thing, I have not proven it. Although many wise people in my area agree, about bamboo twigs as a natural snake repellent.
Agh, I'm too verbose to tell about that bamboo grove. In fact, in my post this time, I want to point out: "This is a bamboo grove that brings my imagination back to remembering my unfinished fiction."
