Kayanna & John were married on July 3rd, so it was a perfect opportunity to take advantage of Independence Day decorations. They chose Capital Bluffs Event Center as their venue for the day, and being just a short distance from the Missouri state capital made for an easy trip over to do some portraits. There were great flags and decorations around the building that highlighted the day well.
As with July in Missouri, the weather was a steamy 95F, but a good breeze not only helped easy the heat, but also add a lot of natural movement to Kayanna's hair and the dress. A short stop by for ice cream at a local favorite, Central Dairy, was a highlight as well since they both had fond memories of numerous date stops there in the past.
All in all, it was a great wedding day! The couple were relaxed and family/friends seemed to enjoy celebrating their big day.
