Hi Everyone
This is a set of shots I took a few days ago. Here in Fife on Scotland's east coast, we had our first snow flurry of the season. Nothing too deep, just a light dusting of white stuff, which makes everything look a little more Christmasy.
This first shot is of one of the artificial pine trees outside of my front door.
A close-up of the baubles, I like the front door reflection and the snow on top.
So more Christmas decorations in the snow.
This wishing well is waiting in the front yard until we find a better home for it, for now, it makes for a nice shot with the door front decor in the background.
Ol Saint Nick climbing a real Korean fir tree in my backyard with a beard full of snow-ho-ho...
Pine cones on a Douglas pine in the backyard.
These robins aren't really unfortunately, they are just decorations. With a bit of snow around them, they could make for lovely Christmas card images.
A fairy garden at the base of a tree...
Complete with an evil-looking pixie ornament from Killarney in Ireland which I found in a local charity shop...don't look directly into his eyes...
A few shots were taken around the frozen garden pond. This sun decoration takes on a new feel with the images and feels of winter around it.
I'm not sure what type of tree this is but it seems to hold onto its leaves longer than the others. Here we see a wonderful blend of Autumnal and Winter imagery.
Another little fairy village dusted with snow.
It seems a spider has taken up residence in this tree house, not a bad little winter home.
This last shot is of snow snowflakes and icicle decorations with another evergreen tree in the background.
