It is believed that this is the deepest lake in Tatarstan - the Aktash failure. The lake is interesting, with a whole history. It is known for sure, and confirmed by documentary records in the archives, that the lake appeared in August 1939. The ground suddenly sank under a tractor driving to the fields. The tractor completely went underground, the tractor driver could not get out, and unfortunately died...

Since then, the failure has widened. The earth gradually crumbles, and the diameter of the lake increases. Trees are being planted along the perimeter of the lake to strengthen the shore. But little by little the gap widens. Now the lake is about 50 meters in diameter and more than 25 meters deep. Local residents swim in the lake and relax on the shore. Unfortunately they leave rubbish...

An interesting fact - territorially, the failure is located near the village of Kaleikino. And Aktash village is located at a distance of about 30 kilometers. But nevertheless, the lake is called Aktash.
