The second part of the post about the Museum of Samara Medical University. If you are an impressionable person, then it is better not to look further. The first part can be viewed here
The museum presents many real exhibits for student education: organs from the human body, embryos with incurable diseases, skeletons, and so on. A couple of exhibits deserve special mention.
Exhibit number one (photo 1,2,3). Human mummy. According to the employee, this person has worked as a watchman of the university since its foundation. And he bequeathed his body to science after his death. Unfortunately, his name has not survived. Unlike mummy. Surely the students call him something among themselves, but they didn’t tell us about it ...
And exhibit number two (photos 19,20,21) is also a mummy, but a mummy as a teaching aid. The body was partially opened, for the convenience of explanation, numbers are placed on important points. As they said, this is the body of an old woman who, like the watchman, bequeathed her body to science.
