Some post-apocalyptic landscapes. Samara region, the city of Chapaevsk, a quarry from a former brick factory. The plant itself has been demolished for several years now, only the boiler room pipe and the checkpoint building remain. And during the full-fledged work of the enterprise, raw materials for the production of bricks and other products were mined nearby, in a huge quarry. Raw materials were transported by narrow gauge railway. Now the rail is no longer to be found, they were stolen a long time ago. The quarry, like the plant, traces its history back to the early 30s of the last century.

Mining in the quarry was stopped 5-7 years ago, there is no exact information. A little later, a certain private office tried to mine something there, but it didn’t work out. So everything remained half-abandoned.

At one time, this place was quite popular, especially among photographers - thematic photo shoots were held here. Also here you can meet lovers of all kinds of fossils - in limestone deposits you can find the remains of various antiquities. For example - a shell from a mollusk.

The water in the lakes is of a strange color, the color and texture of the soil, some kind of half-dead trees - at times it seems that these are landscapes of another planet :)
