Hi, my name is Jethro and I'm a digital hoarder. Well, hoarding may be a bit of a stretch but I sure do seem to end up with a lot of digital odds and ends. Particularly photos.
When I edit photos I save the jpegs to a folder on my computer and then once I post them on here I transfer them onto one of my assortment of portable hard drives. Only problem is that I post less than I edit so over time I end up with quite the collection of odds and ends in the folder.
I mostly edit in black and white (thanks ) but occasionally I'll edit a few I really like in color as well. Then I post the B&Ws and forget about color shots until they start accumulating excessively. Makes figuring out what you have and haven't posted lots of fun.
Since it's a lovely Sunday around these parts I thought I'd do a little digital housekeeping, tidy things up a bit, hope y'all don't mind.
First photo is the Reflecting Pool in Washington DC, second is garden variety militia from 2020 here in Louisville, and the third is the Tidal Basin in DC.
My train of thought seems to have taken a wrong turn somewhere. Not sure where I was going with this but we seem to be in the Rockies.
Should probably start a graveyard for all the blog posts that died aborning. Get a couple photos edited, hey, look, fire!
It all tracks...
Now I just need to track me down one of these cameras. Anybody ever shoot with a Yashica?
I swear he going on safari and got lost and ended up at a protest.
Robert Heinlein said "An armed society is a polite society" but judging by the news he seems to have been mistaken.
Nothing to see here, this train's not going off the rails.
Now if only I could get these photos lined up a little better. Anybody got a system for organizing their photos that actually works?
My ride's here, gotta go.
