I have so many boy [crow] friends.
It's not like that.
Ew.
It's not polyamory bestiality hey-what's-your-kink-mine's-crows.
God no.
Pervert.
Ugh.
Some people...
Boys are just bolder. Usually.
They tend to break the ice first.
They're usually the first in the family to forge a connection with little old earth-bound me.
Take Melby, here.
Melby was the first crow after Bo to discover my window snacks. He's a pal.
He's also got the roundest cutest eyes and head ever and maybe I've already said this in some other blog before but I don't care cuz I'm grandma-repeats-herself and it needs to be said again and again anyway because Melby is a frikkin button.
Zephram.
He's the big man about the park. Boss man. Thinks he owns me and has convinced all the other crows within a three block radius that he has first dibs on any food I put out even if it's not technically on his turf. I don't argue with him because who am I to dispute the Rules of Crow, plus he's not a dick about it, so I guess the other crows are ok with him being boss.
Just don't cross him. He wields a deadly stink-eye.
Bo.
If you don't know who Bo is by now, I don't know what to tell you.
Just watch this.
Maybe it will help.
Biggie.
BIGGIE!!!! 🖤🖤🖤
He's my little buddy. Little big buddy.
He's all the everything.
He's my sunshine.
He's only one year old.
I don't know his exact birthday, but it could very well be today. As it could be for nearly all crows in this neighborhood, since lots of eggs start hatching about now.
Happy Birthdays, Boys!
