Well, I want to tell you a story about a dream. I am from a working-class family, we live in Scotland, and not a single member of our family has ever went to University. As I grew up and became interested in politics and economics, I could see the value of higher education and I am lucky to live in a country where a) the education is great and b) it's pretty much free.

I have travelled lots and I am incredibly proud of my growing portfolio, however the University weren't and sadly offered no real feedback. So what happened? Money wasn't an issue becomes it is funded by the government and my portfolio was far above what was required creatively. Feel free to disagree, however we are talking about first year photography here.

After some research I finally discovered, well squeezed out of the school their actual reasons. They believed that my high school grades (which are actually good, just not perfect) were unsatisfactory, particularly my C in Mathematics would greatly affect my progress as I tried to complete a degree...

So kids, if you want to be an artist in life, makes sure you are also a budding Mathematician, how else would you figure out the best F-stop

So here we are, sticking it to University and sticking it to the finacial system. I greatly appreciate the support this platform affords me, it is helping me make good investments and support my 3 year old son.

I will go to University one day as a lecturer, and I will rip the system to pieces. Fucking Math for Art, fuck off haha.

Love you all,
