And it's oh so quiet. This is what I'm saying to myself every time when I go alone in my long walks. Very early in the morning is the perfect moment to be in the forest because you can hear every sound of nature. It is pure perfection.
I practice my keen sense of observation. I look at every branch, every leaf. I notice patterns and changes. There is nothing quite like this. I feel rejuvenated after I look at everything because I realize the miracle of creation.
A simple flower is a work of art if you take a closer look. Intricate geometry, superb colours and symetry. Every tree has so many distinct shades of green that an entire palette wouldn't grasp their color richness.
I don't always take pictures as I prefer to be there, in the moment, enjoying it. But in my last walk I felt so happy to see the signs of spring that I felt the urge to capture it on camera.
I look at nature and I see art everywhere. I think that we need to take more time for ourselves and be in a forest. To detach ourselves, to be calm and to realize how big the world is beyond our worries and plans.
I can't put in words the way you feel after many hours spent in the woods, without phones, people, noises. I can't put it in words because you have to feel it, see it, embrace it. You have to be there, in the present moment. And when you close your eyes, fill your lungs and sense the sun.... it's oh so quiet...
Have a blessed day and toodle loo!
