The original factory of Bacardi is in Santiago de Cuba but today this place is a museum since Cuba doesnt produce Bacardi anymore.
Why?
Around the 1960 Fidel Castro nationalized every business, company, even foreign companies and turned them part of the government. That's why the owners of Bacardi decided to leave Cuba.
As a result, today the most popular rum in Cuba is Havana Club, but the best one is Santiago de Cuba 11 años
Currently, this building provides office space for foreign companies.
