Hello photography enthusiasts, I'm posting a few photos before they are really out of context hahaha. I took these images in a small village 5 km from the city of Lyon. This city is one of the largest cities in France. This small village of 300 inhabitants, most of whom have stone houses, was there and waited patiently for me to come and take my photos. In fact, for context, I passed by there on a full moon evening, all the street lights in the village were off but this house was very bright, it was nice to see a pretty decoration on such a pretty stone house. People often decorate their homes with fairy lights and place them in bright light during the day because they are easier to install. Unfortunately and too often the colors and the position of the garlands resemble a large point of light without aesthetics. You can see a GIF at the end that shows you the colors. The owner took care to place each garland in the right place without overusing the tromboscopic light. A small wall separated the courtyard from the road. Unfortunately for me I didn't have my camera and I had to use my phone to take the photos. He went so far as to place a green garland on the ground
A photo taken from the neighbor's wall. The neighbor had also installed a large old-fashioned blue garland. It was so powerful that it lit up the ancient path right next to it.
The garland lit the back of the house. I only saw it when I moved aside to take the other house with prettier decoration.
Of course, I didn't just take this photo. There was a dark path ahead of us but the blue reflection of a garland lit it up and gave a strange appearance to the path. The moon in the sky, the clouds fragmenting and half tearing the white-trunked trees gave an unreal feeling. I don't know if you've seen that old series "The Visitors" where David Vincent took a path and thought he was taking a shortcut and found himself face to face with aliens. Well that’s the feeling I had when I saw the photo to take.
Thank you and have a good week
