I told you the other day that I have a ton of tapestries that were boxed up in storage for a few years. I finally got them out because they seemed like ideal photo backgrounds. Here I am again to share with you another one of these beautiful tapestries in my collection as I pose for some self-portraits.
This bird-filled tree tapestry isn't any ordinary tapestry. It's a window curtain, but you can't even tell really. I had it up in my old bedroom when I still lived with my parents I had over a dozen tapestries hanging when I lived at that house. It was cool, but I just didn't want to do that again where I live now. Instead of just letting these things continue to collect dust, I knew I had to put them to use. Now they are part of my photography toolset.
You may wonder why I am always in my underwear. I can answer that for you. The reason is because that's the most comfortable way to walk around the house. I take the majority of my photos inside my apartment, so I'm naturally already stripped down when I decide it's photo time spur of the moment. I may also like having my 100+ hours of tattoos on display, but can you blame me?
I find myself making the most random ass faces when taking photos of myself. There is only so much a dude can do, I don't want every picture to look the exact same. It's funny though, sometimes I just think what the hell was going on there? Oh well, time to post it no matter how funny it is.
It's been so long, but I can sort of remember a time when I didn't like seeing photos of myself. There are many people who are like that and I totally understand why you aren't always taking photographs of yourself. At some point in life, something clicked with me and said "Take lots of photos", so that's exactly what I'm doing.
If you enjoy doing photography like this, then I highly recommend posting your photos to https://www.liketu.com/. They only ask for 1% of your rewards and in return they give you an awesome interface with many people posting photos all the time. It's also great for Liketu to gain another new user who actively posts. We should want all Hive apps to succeed. Just something to think about, no pressure to start taking photos all the time.
That's all folks. Thanks for looking at me being me once again 😁
