Dreaming for a wedding day? But how does a wedding day truly like? It’s one of those things you won’t fully understand until you're the bride in your lovely white gown.
Greetings hivers! For today’s blog its going to be a big day of one’s memorable life. The wedding day of one my handsome cousins and his stunning, darling wife.
I understand that everyone's wedding day is different, but I wanted to share with you some of the details from my cousin's wedding day that people don't frequently talk about.
TRAVEL TIME
The wedding day started when we packed up three cars, imagine three cars for the groom's entire family, and headed to Butuan City. And it took us for 4 hours from our hometown, where the wedding was held. We arrived in Butuan City around 3 p.m. and stayed in Camella Subdivision for three consecutive days and nights.
Then we had our dinner, chitchat, relaxed, and called it a night.
PREP TIME
We woke up early the next morning, and the bridesmaids and moms went out to Oasis hotel for their breakfast, make-up and pictorials, as we all know that girls take longer to prepare, especially when it comes to make-up, compared to boys.
While the groomsmen, bestman and dads including myself as one of the groomsmen, also went out to Oasis hotel to prepare for our breakfast and then the photo shoot.
Being chosen as one of the groomsmen is an honor.
PICTORIAL TIME
After we prepared ourselves, we began to pictorial moment. From the photo to video. We began to wear in white t-shirts and boxer shorts.
The Boys.
The Girls.
Right after that, we changed from our boxer attire to a barong tagalog, the Philippine National Costume and slacks real quick.
The Boys.
The Girls.
HONORED
As one of the groomsmen, we’re expected to attend all pre-wedding events, including the engagement party, couples shower, bachelor party and rehearsal dinner.
The purpose of groomsmen is to help the groom plan and prepare for his wedding day. Their main job is to assist the bestman in planning and paying for the stag do, as well as to support the groom. They frequently serve as ushers at weddings as well.
THERE ARE 6 WAYS TO BE A FANTASTIC GROOMSMAN:
- BE ON TIME. Wear a new watch.
- BE IN THE LOOP. You'll be dressed in a suit that clearly identifies you as a groomsman, so expect to be a wealth of information to the guests.
- WELCOME THE GUESTS.
- GO BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY.
- GET READY TO DANCE.
- LOVE THE GROOM AS MUCH AS THE BRIDE.
TIP and ADVICE:
Just keep in mind that marriage is only the beginning! You have a lifetime of happiness, progress, and learning curves ahead of you. We are firm believers in the importance and beauty of marriage as a lifelong commitment.
