Well, not a picture of me, but a picture I shot on Sunday after the snowfall over night.
Initially I was planning to go to a local reservoir but I had to drive around back lanes to get to it, after seeing how bad the main roads were with the snow, I thought there's no way that I am going to drive on those lanes.
I decided to go into town for a McDonalds breakfast, it was still snowing, but the weather forecast was right for once and stopped snowing around 10am, this was the perfect chance to get a shot of the town in the snow, from where I was parked, it was a case of just taking the drone straight up, no need to fly anywhere or over buildings as the vantage point is great from my position.
(Here is the full version of the shot)
As I was ascending a flock of pigeons decided to start flying around the drone, so I took it a bit higher and they seemed to stay away then, I then shot a about 5 different pics at different heights and landed the drone, as drops of snow started to fall again, however, I knew I'd got that killer shot of my town.
As you can see I didn't take many shots, it was a bit cold that morning too, but I am so happy with what I got, and to top it off, I never imagined it would make the front page of the paper, that has made my day!
I really hope you've like the shots, all done with the DJI Mini 3, apart from the Xmas tree, which was done on my iphone.
