Alright, this will be the grand finale or the last post from the Lake called Annette. Like I’ve mentioned before, Banff Park is not the only park in the Canadian Rockies. Jasper Park, comes in a close second, as a hiking and sightseeing destination (but Banff is my favourite). On this particular leg of the journey, the plan for today was Annette Lake first, Edith Lake second, then Pyramid Lake Island third. Each experience expected take about two hours a piece. A perfect day to enjoy some shorter combined activities (minus the somewhat hazy skies of course). All three places are first time visits, which adds another level of excitement. I am striving to complete all the easy to moderate hikes/nature walks that the parks have to offer. Only the stellar ones qualify as repeat visits (like the previous day’s Plain of six glacier’s hike). As much as I enjoyed Annette Lake, it probably won’t be included on my list of stellar hikes, but still worth a visit!
