This is what it looks like at the summit area of the Prairie view hiking trail. Great views all the way around. It really was nearly a perfect day to be out and about hiking. This particular hike has been on my radar for a few years now, and finally I was able to realize this “dream” you might say. It almost feels like I am collecting different hikes from around the Canadian Rockies. Like a Canadian Rockies hiking bucket list! So far, I have done probably fifty or so different hikes in the Kootenay, Yoho, Banff, Kananaskis and Jasper parks combined, and there are plenty more to do on my list. By the way, this does not include any hikes from the Waterton parks area, which is located right on the Canada US border. It is called Glacier national park on the US side, just in case you did not know it.

The colour version of this photo did not turn out well, so I am only posting the black & white version.
