This is Elbow Falls. Located about 45 minutes south-west of Calgary, in the foothills of Kananaskis country, Alberta. No need to go all the way to the Rocky Mountains in order to see water falls. Judging by the terrain, this fall has been here for a considerable length of time. The water originates from Elbow Lake, which is about an hour away or so. This is a glacially fed lake, one of many in the Canadian Rockies. If you are ever in Calgary, and are looking for a great little half day of adventure, this is a great place to go. Thanks for stopping by.
