After completing two shorter hikes around Anette and Edith lake, it was time to move on to the next adventure. The next planned location is Pyramid Island, which is not too far from here, probably about thirty minutes or so away from this place. Driving along, I spotted this Elk, all by itself walking near the road. The easy thing to do would have been to grab the smartphone, but I really wanted to get some high quality photos to post here on Hive. So I went the extra mile and slowed to a stop, grabbed the DSLR and rolled down the window. Only problem was though, the animal wasn’t staying put and was moving along. So with great difficulty, I pulled off about 6 photos, but only 3 made the cut. Photos taken inside Jasper National Park, Alberta. Here they are:
Camera: Sony A7R III
Lens: Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS
Editing: Lightroom
