Just before beginning my hike to Elbow Lake, I had to capture a few pics of the surroundings. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, with mostly blue skies to accompany me along the trail. Perfect. This trailhead is easily accessible, therefore the expectations were for it to be busy. Somewhat busy it was, but not chaotic. Chaotic hiking crowds are certainly not something I love or look for. Unless the reward is so worth it. Away I go, the lake itself is less than an hour or so away. An easy one actually, with limited elevation gain. I like that. Let’s go! photos taken inside Kananaskis country, Alberta, Canada.
