It was a jam packed day full of activities, and visiting Pyramid Lake was stop number three for today. Previously we circled both Annette and Edith Lake, both tiny lakes in comparison to Pyramid. The goal here was not to actually hike around it, but to walk out to the tiny island via this walking bridge. So we did. Notice the non-blue skies, and more of that hazy air, thanks to the unfortunate forest fire activity in the general area. It seems that our day in Jasper was destined to be smoky. Oh well. This tiny little island is not really even an island, it is that small. It took only about 3 or 4 minutes to walk to the far end. Apparently it is a popular spot for weddings, as there is a gazebo on site for such things. Photos taken last July inside Jasper National Park.
