As we continued along the hiking trail to Helen Lake, some magnificent mountain views started to materialize, like this one. As far as I know, this peak is called Bowcrow, but I could be mistaken. Google maps is helpful, but not a precise science. As we climbed elevation wise, the wind did start to pickup. No surprise I suppose. I would have given anything for bluer skies, but you just have to appreciate whatever nature has in store for you. C’est la vie. Shortly after these photos were taken, I could feel a tiny rain droplet hit my hand. This sent a negative chill down my spine. Were we gonna get rained out and have to return, or was the rain going to be just a temporary disruption and a minor blip in the road..
