One thing I noticed while spending time in East Kootenay was the large Osprey nests built here and there. This Osprey thought that the top of an electrical pole was the ticket! I’m glad he posed for the camera. Mostly these nests are found near rivers, close to their prey of choice which are fish. These birds are not quite as large as a bald eagle, but they do have a wing span of up to 6 feet, compared to an eagle which are up to 7.5 feet. Thanks for stopping by.
