Walking through Jura Canyon, one thing that struck me was the incredibly rocky terrain. I suppose that really it shouldn’t surprise me that much, as this is what gets leftover after a season of glacial water rushing through the valley, then into the Bow river below. Definitely proper footwear is a must to navigate your way through the canyon. This time of year there was just barely a trickle of water coming down. I wonder what it looks in June? Someday I will need to return and find out. These particular photos were taken mid September last year.
