Finally I made it to the Summit or at least close to the summit of the Rae glacier hike. Now in all honesty, the last half hour of this hike was more of a scramble than a hike. I did feel at some point that I was in over my head a little actually, but I trudged along. When I did make it to a decent spot, there was in fact some elderly hikers there as well enjoying the views, so it did kind of give me comfort, and made me think that I was overreacting somewhat to the scramble situation earlier. Views at the top were pretty sweet. This high up the wind was a factor, but no suprise. The glacier itself was partially hidden from view, but the tiny little glacially fed lake was visible. Time for a summit snack!
