Here we are at the top of Sunshine, Banff, a place called Sunshine Meadows. The basic hike up here is actually not very long, and it covers three relatively small lakes. The first stop along the circuit is Rock Isle Lake, the second biggest of the three. It took approximately 30 minutes or so to reach the lake, and the weather was being very cooperative, with some decent rays for a Fall day. Virtually a perfect Fall day for hiking. Couldn’t have asked for better weather. We lucked out!
