One thing that really stood out for me on this hike was the pristine beauty of the trail itself. The reddish tint of the soil made it gorgeous to trek on. You know when they say that “It’s not the designation, it”s the journey”, on this hike it was bang on (except for a little surprise I’ll share later). What a beauty of a day it was; the goal was only to complete one hike, and not two like the previous day (I think I got a little too ambitious).
