A close up shot of the Victoria glacier, located above the ever popular Lake Louise. This is the view tourists travel thousands of kilometres to see. It really does look surreal don’t you think? Only thing better than this view is to be there in person looking at this view. Really amazing actually. This is why Lake Louise is one of the most visited destinations in all of Canada. This is why I have personally visited more than twenty times myself. Call me crazy I guess. A photographers dream location. Imagine if the skies were blue instead of overcast. This is why I will need to visit again someday and hope for clear skies. Now it’s time to begin the walk around the shoreline trail to the far side. Over yonder is where the trailhead begins for the Plain of six glaciers hike.
