Where was I today? Can you guess, I’ll give you one hint: Not Kootenay Park. There you are. As you can see in the first photo, some forest fire smoke in the air unfortunately. The hazy skies certainly took away from the magnificent views. Darn. Oh well, this was our scheduled destination for today. C'est la vie. That’s life. Today’s hiking was more like, let’s say “nature walking”, meaning virtually no elevation gain and a lot easier than yesterday. Sometimes you have to take it somewhat easy.
