Hi everyone,
As my pseudonym suggests, I am constantly searching for balance between light and darkness. Performing lightpainting using daylight has always been one of my goals in my global approach.
When I visited this quarry with my man _explore in January, we came across this huge fontis roughly clogged on the surface. It was the middle of the day and the infiltration of outside light was almost perfect: not too weak so that the photographic exposure time was not too long and not too strong to give me time to work.
After becoming familiar with these rather unusual conditions, I began performing abstract calligraphic works. This shot is one of the most accomplished in this serie.

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
