Silver Springs Florida
Even though I live only 3 miles away it has been years since I've visited here. I figured yesterday was a wonderful time to go. The weather was nice and sunny and warm. Perfect for a little hike! If you've ever traveled to Florida or going to be traveling to Florida, I highly suggest putting this on your list of things to do!
Silver Springs is nestled in Marion County. It was the site of many famous movies in the 1920's to 1940's including Tarzan.
The park has many hiking trails and gardens for you to walk through.
There are also little rivers making it perfect to kayak and canoe in as well!
Also while you are there make sure you take a trip on the glass bottom boats!!! You can still see the remnants of statues left behind from various movies!
You can also see plenty of wildlife!
