If You Listen, You Can Hear the Fairies!
I had previously posted about an old Civil War era graveyard. This post is a subsequent post that features the forest surrounding the graveyard.
It is a magical place. The name of the area is called Indian Lake and was the home of many Native Americans. There are burial grounds here for them as well but they are all unmarked!
This is one of the first things you see when entering this forest!
If you sit on the swing in the previous photo you will see this view. This is not snow, but rather dry sand from a lake that's drying up.
This is the path you must take through the forest.
And, we must cross over this bridge!
We will also pass by this glorious old tree! He has seen and heard the years go by. He knows the secrets of the fairies!
We must also follow this path!
And.. just maybe.. if we stop for a moment and listen, we can here the fairies whisper and sing their songs.
