My wife is so awesome. She was in charge of planning a work party for her company and she decided that a baseball game would be a good idea.
So we are at the Smith’s Ballpark to watch the Salt Lake Bees play against the Reno Aces.
We got here pretty early to make sure that everything is set up for the rest of the company to get here. So we have pretty much the whole stadium to ourselves as the workers are getting everything ready for the game.
It is pretty cool seeing how much work goes into getting the field ready. They are painting the lines and getting the infield all nice and smooth.
It has been so long since I have been to a baseball game that wasn’t a child’s game. When I lived in Illinois, we would go see the Cardinals play all the time and I loved the nachos there in the stadium. These ones weren’t nearly as good as I remember, but it could be because I have had some pretty amazing food since I was a child.
It should be a pretty awesome night at the ball park. It’s going to be a lot of fun spending time with her coworkers here.
