So furry
When I was at the butterfly sanctuary, they had a bunch of other cool insects out on display. Like this furry little tarantula. Well, it wasn't so little.
It was so furry and I wondered how soft it was. I wanted to just pick it up and hold it. I used to have a pet tarantula, so I am not scared of this species of spider. Now the black widow, that thing is scary. They had one there on display, but it was hiding, so I didn't get any shots of it.
Last year this stupid thing was outside making a web on my front porch. That was the time that I decided I needed to call the exterminators out and make sure I never see one of these things so close to my home again.
They had a whole ant colony of leaf cutter ants as well. I thought it was pretty dope cause they had a bunch of tubes running all over the place and the ants were carrying little pieces of the leaves down the tubes to their colonies. It must suck to be an ant and your whole purpose is to cut pieces of leaves up and bring them back home for the colony.
They had some pretty cool looking scorpions there that were black light reactive. I tried to get some shots of them with my flash, but they just looked like normal scorpions and it wasn't as cool. So I had to bump of my ISO and open up the aperture for this shot.
Then there was this ugly spider. Look at those thorny things on its legs. I have no clue what kind of spider this is, but if I saw it running around, I would make sure to stomp the shit out of it. This thing is disgusting looking.
Well, I hope that you like the pictures of these ugly monsters. There were a few other insects, but the place was full of little kids running all over and licking the glass, so it was hard to get any good shots. Kids are weirdos.
