Still looking great
This Granddaddy Purple grow just continues to impress me. The genetics of this strain are great.
Over the past 9 days, she has really begun to stretch out and begin to fill up the tent. My goal is to have her across the entire net and have a nice even canopy.
She doesn't look that big from this view, but she is twice the size of my plants that I normally grow.
It will be so cool to see these bud sites begin to fatten up over the next few weeks.
Right now, they are pretty tiny, but each of these little sites will eventually grow into thick buds that look like corndogs. I really loved how my last GDP grow looked and I think this one is going to be even better.
It is crazy that I only have 8 main branches but there are so many bud sites. It seems like each day there are a few more shooting up through the canopy competing for light.
I think I am going to do another round of defoliation next weekend. This will be crucial for ensuring good light penetration to the lower sites.
This week, I am focusing on just folding down branches and guiding them around the netting. This week is all about making an even canopy. I can't wait to see what a shot like this looks like in 4 weeks. It will be crazy.
