A few weeks ago I organized a photo shoot in a cultural house located in the neighborhood of Villa Crespo in the city of Buenos Aires, where I worked with two models, one of them, a friend for some years (Sun). Due to time constraints it has been difficult for me to dedicate time to the editions but today I bring you some photos of this session.
In mutual agreement we decided to do it here because of the space, the theme and aesthetics. The old and deteriorated mansions seem to attract a lot of attention in us photographers and also in models.
Hace ya algunas semanas que organicé una producción fotográfica en una casa cultural ubicada en el barrio de Villa Crespo en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, donde trabajé con dos modelos, una de ellas, amiga desde hace ya algunos años (Sun). Por motivos de tiempo se me ha dificultado dedicar tiempo a las ediciones pero hoy les traigo algunas fotos de ésta sesión.
En mutuo acuerdo decidimos hacerla acá debido al espacio, la temática y estética. Las mansiones antiguas y deterioradas parecen llamar mucho la atención en nosotros los fotógrafos y también en modelos.
There were many spaces that could be used to take pictures, rooms, halls, there was very good natural light and for some cases we decided that certain photos would be in black and white in the first instance.
As the place had several corridors and stairs that led to other rooms or spaces, we decided to take some photos in one of these stairs with one of the outfits that the model proposed.
Eran muchísimos los espacios que se podían aprovechar para hacer fotos, habitaciones, Halls, había muy buena entrada de luz natural además y para algunos casos ciertas fotos decidimos que serían en blanco y negro en primera instancia.
Cómo el lugar tenía varios pasillos y escaleras que daban a otras habitaciones o espacios, pues decidimos hacer algunas en una de éstas escaleras con uno de los outfits que la modelo propuso.
It's interesting to do a production of this type or style with people with whom you already have a lot of confidence, because you don't feel like you are working but enjoying the moment, creating and having a good time there.
Es interesante el hecho de hacer una producción de este tipo o estilo con personas con las que ya tienes mucha confianza, pues no sientes que estás trabajando sino disfrutando el momento, creando y teniendo un buen momento allí.
There are many aspects to take into account for this type of photography, playing with lights and shadows, among others. In particular I am more passionate about expressing it in black and white, as I am doing now with these photos.

Hay muchísimos aspectos a tomar en cuenta para este tipo de fotografías, jugar con las luces y las sombras, entre otros. En particular me apasiona más expresarlo en blanco y negro, de tal manera como lo estoy haciendo ahora con éstas fotos.
Ésta fue parte de nuestra producción fotográfica en la vieja mansión llamada "La Llavi". Espero les sea de su agrado 😊
